Changes in Grading System

1. RATs: Individual part will count 50% and Group part 50%.
   
   
2. All RAT scores will be zero (0) if not taken.
   
   
3. Lowest RAT score will be dropped.
   
   
4. The mid-term will be optional. For those deciding to take the mid-term, their score on Exams' will be computed as follows:
   
   Max [ (midterm + final)/2, final ]
   
   Example 1:
   Score on midterm is 90% and score on final is 72%.
   Average of mid-term and final is (90% + 72%)/2 = 81%.
   Then max (81%, 72%) = 81%.
   
   
   Example 2:
   Score on midterm is 80% and score on final is 90%.
   Average of mid-term and final is (80% + 90%)/2 = 85%.
   Then max (85%, 90%) = 90%.
   
   
   
5. Following each RAT, there will be an 'Overview' of the concepts that will be covered in the ensuing week.
