Schedule:Tuesdays through Fridays 2:30-3:20 in 222 Thomas
Textbooks:Required: Introduction to the Practice of Statistics, 3rd edition by Moore and McCabe
Optional: Minitab Student Handbook, 3rd edition by Ryan and Joiner
Grading:Grades will be based on homework problems assigned in class (10%), a final course project (20%), and tests and quizzes (70%). Homework will typically be due the next lecture after it is assigned, and late homework is not accepted.
The test and quiz grade will be mostly two midterm tests and a final exam, but I reserve the right to give short quizzes, announced or unannounced, in class.
No make-up tests or quizzes will be given.
Calculator:Bring one with you to class. You may use one on tests, quizzes, etc.
